Anton Corbijn's On-Set Photography for The American
Last week, I wrote about the four actresses from Focus Features movies - Greta Gerwig, Yaya DaCosta, Emma Roberts and Zoe Kravitz - who are currently profiled in W magazine.
Also in this issue is a great collection of photos taken by legendary photographer Anton Corbijn on the set of his new movie, The American. The first picture - of a shirtless George Clooney - has been the attention grabber out of the set, but the nine photos as a whole demonstrate what a great eye Corbijn has.
“With film there’s still a lot that’s totally new to me,” Corbijn says in the introduction to the piece. “But when it comes to photography, I think I know more or less what I can do with a camera.”
