Of course it's everyone's freedom to donate to whatever cause he wishes, so some might be able to justify why Focus is allowing its film, Milk, to be shown in Cinemark theaters. But Focus Films has the timely opportunity to make a statement against the kind of violence that contributed to the murder of Harvey Milk by pulling its distribution of Milk from Cinemark theaters. You should already know that no one with any scruples would see Milk in one of Alan Stock's theaters anyway, so why not make real statement against discriminatory laws against gays and lesbians that perpetuate violence against gays instead of capitalizing on it?
